First click on tools then click to customize and then make sure you have click on autotext and then you would be able to see a picture of kayboard with finger click on it and now you would see a window with headings of autocorrect, autoformat as you type, and autotext which is clicked, and autoformat and now you can see preview and look in headings and make sure you have clicked on normal.dot (global template).

This can also be found just simply by pressing ALT then stroke T and then stroke A. Now you can reach the four headings i.e. autocorrect, autoformat as you type, autotext, and autoformat. Now click on autotext and make sure you have clicked before you start file.
